Julia works with clients as a nonprofit consultant, with projects in New York and Philadelphia. Julia is currently the Managing Director for JACK Quartet, an internationally acclaimed contemporary string quartet. JACK operates as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the performance, commissioning, and appreciation of new string quartet music.a
Prior to her work with JACK, Julia served as the Development Director for Sō Percussion, a Brooklyn-based new music ensemble, where she focused on Board cultivation and individual giving strategy. Other recent clients include PlayPenn, a new play development organization; BalletX, a contemporary ballet company specializing in world premieres; Emma’s Torch, which empowers refugees through culinary education; and Directors Gathering, a service organization for theater directors. She has held positions in development and marketing at The Wilma Theater, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and the American Repertory Theater.
